We are committed to protecting the health of our guests, our team and our local community. Braeside Mt Macedon Country Retreat is set on 27 acres of gardens, parklands and native bush. Our cottages are located throughout the gardens and are independent of each other so you’ll have plenty of space and fresh air. Click here to view the garden and cottage plan.
To ensure a COVID Safe environment we have taken the following measures:

• Undertaken the Accommodation Association of Australia’s “Reopening with a COVID Safe Plan” training

• Developed a COVID Safe Plan for Braeside Mt Macedon Country Retreat

• Complied with government COVID Safe guidelines for accommodation businesses

• Maintain social distancing and compliance with contact tracing requirements

• Ensure guest numbers comply with current government advice

• Undertake a COVID clean of each cottages after each stay

• Commercially launder all linen after each stay

• Sanitise all surfaces and high touchpoints in each cottage

• Follow government masking guidelines but continue to wear mask when interacting with guests in an indoor environment or where social distancing is not possible

• Our cottages are stocked with antibacterial hand wash and sanitising wipes

• Our cottages are stocked with breakfast provisions for you to prepare at your leisure. This means there is no need to share any common indoor spaces with other guests.

Cancellation Policy

• We recognise the challenges the COVID 19 pandemic has presented.

• If you are impacted by COVID 19 and you are forced to cancel your booking proof of your positive PCR test must be provided to secure a credit voucher which can then be used on another occasion.

• In all other cases our standard cancellation policy applies.
